Lajares Law Offices

Really bad experience with this law office. They treat clients with desdain, disappeared days before a transaction and blame others. Maybe it’s a cultural thing since the main lawyer is not Spanish but I have never been treated this poorly and unprofessionally by a lawyer, having been involved in many transactions. Will not hire again. Cannot recommend.

I contacted the office on WhatsApp on monday, and i got automatic message in Spanish and English. I wrote my question in English, somebody read it and no answer until wednesday. Very not professional and disrespectful to potential client. UPDATE. I got automated message (as i wrote in review). After automated message, i asked my question, somebody read it and didnt answer. Then i wrote again. And today (wednesday) i got answer after i post review. At least please dont lie, specially if you have to build trust in your business field. Screenshot attached.

I can’t rate this law firm highly enough and would recommend them to any Brit buying or selling a property in Fuerteventura. Unfortunately selling my apartment was complicated after my wife passed away but the process was done professionally and as quickly as was possible. A special mention for Saskia who is an absolute star, her English is perfect and her knowledge second to none. She assisted and kept me informed every step of the way. Saskia also went above and beyond in helping me get my La Caixa bank account closed which was more stressful for me than selling the apartment.
