I have been with Franco Abogados from the beginning of my time in Spain ( which was a difficult time as I moved from uk during COVID and brexit). I found them on the gov.co.uk website and from day one communication was excellent and they were so helpful, which made things a lot less stressful for me. I had heard a lot of horror stories about gestors so I was so happy when I met Jaime and his team who took time to explain everything regarding autonomo and taxes in Spain. They gave me a lot of time and I felt so reassured and valued. They were very honest and transparent and their English is impeccable so no language barriers or communication difficulties. FUYEZ - RUN - NOOIT MEER - NO CONFIAR !!!!!!!!!!!!! Ce cabinet d'avocat et fiscaliste s'est chargé de la ventre de notre appartement dans le sud de l'Espagne en 2017. Nous pensions que tout le travail avait été correctement réalisé, et les equipes étaient aimables à ce moment là, car il n'avait pas encore encaissé leurs honoraires à ce moment-là. 4 ans plus tard, je suis POURSUIVIE par l'administration des impôts espagnole, m'indiquant ne pas avoir déclaré ni PAYE les impôts sur la plus value réalisée en 2017. J'ai donc fait étudier le dossier par un expert qui m'a dit que le dossier avait été complétement baclé: --> le cabinet nous déclare comme NON résidents fiscal espagnol alors que nous l'étions à l'époque --> le cabinet prend la liberté de verser l'intégralité des impôts au nom de mon père alors que nous sommes 5 redevables, donc UNE déclaration d'impot a présenter pour chaque propriétaire adulte. --> je suis SANCTIONNEE de plus de 2000EUR pour avoir justement délégué ce dossier à un soit disant expert qui a fait n'importe quoi, je ne vis même plus en Espagne pour essayer de Résultat: FRANCO ABOGADOS ne reconnait aucune de ses erreurs et me propose de me REFACTURER leurs services pour rectifier leurs erreurs !! C'est un cabinet qui n'a de l'intérêt que de facturer et aucun sens de service client lorsqu'ils ont perçus leurs honoraires!!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This law firm and tax specialist took care of the sale of our apartment in the south of Spain back in 2017. We trusted that all the related paperwork had been done correctly, the the teams at the time were friendly, but I understood later on that it was because they were just waiting to cash in their fees. Now, 4 years later, I am CHASED by the Spanish tax administration, informing me that I have not declared or PAID the taxes on the sale of the apartment back in 2017. So I had to pay another expert to review the file and his conclusions were very disappointing as the mistakes done on the files were ROOKIE mistakes!!!!: -->FRANCO ABOGADOS declared us as NON Spanish tax residents when we were at the time -->They apparently also took the liberty of paying all taxes on behalf of my father, while we are 5 owners, so ONE tax return had to be submitted for each adult owner. --> I have now received a PENALTY of more than 2000EUR for having trusted this law firm. I could not stay silent after seeing only positive comments after the HELL they made us all go through ( we no longer live in Spain and can't even go at the moment due to COVID) Result: FRANCO ABOGADOS does not acknowledge any of its mistakes and offers me to REINVOICE US for their services to rectify their own mistakes!! It is a firm that has no interest but to make money at any cost, and they have no sense of customer service once they have cashed in their fees!!!!
