Really terrible experience. We retained this firm on the recommendation of our realtor (who receives commissions apparently for referring to this third rate firm), to assist with the purchase of two properties and visa applications. From start to finish, they were difficult to reach and mismanaged matters, eventually registering both properties and the utilities transfers with misspelled names and wrong details. When asked about these things, the lawyer, Nieves Utrera, was condescending and unapologetic. Many months later, we still have not received our final documentation. We eventually ended up with other lawyers (for real estate and tax matters, Aloha Gardens, and for visas, Carbray) and they are amazing. Avoid these unprofessional lawyers if you wish to get things done correctly and efficiently. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Por un tema urgente, llamé para solicitar una cita con un abogado laboralista el 22 de noviembre en el despacho de Sabinillas. Cinco días después volví a llamar para reiterar la concertación de la cita. Me dijeron que me llamarían........!a día 27 de diciembre sigo esperando. " YA NO HACE FALTA". Atención al cliente "PÉSIMA". He puesto una estrella porque no dejaba publicar la reseña.

We sold our apartment last year using Martinez-Echevarria Abogados, Sabinillas, Manilva. The process of the sale went well until it came to Martinez-Echevarria Abogados submitting our plusvalia application to the tax agency late and incorrectly which meant we incurred interest on top of the plusvalia. We tried to complete this matter for over a year with ME refusing to have a solicitor call or email us back as requested several times. We ended up having to get another solicitor firm to help. The aftercare service has been extremely poor, to say the least. Nothing like we would have expected from a large firm. Finally, after my persistence, Martinez-Echevarria Abogados covered the interest. We didn't even get an apology for their errors. We got the money paid into our bank with no email or other communication. We shouldn't have had to consistently challenge Martinez-Echevarria Abogados or go through the added stress for them to eventually pay the interest that we were rightly owed. We will never use this firm again and definitely won't be recommending the firm to anyone!

Had an urgent matter to attend to. ME lawyer immediately contacted me and we discussed the issue. Able to attend the notary the next morning and successfully complete the business. Couldn't fault the service, or the personal assistance from the lawyer. I have used ME before on a much more complicated matter, needing expertise in translation and provision of International signatures. Handled expertly. I will continue to use their services and recommend to my business and family contacts.

Our legal assistance from this form was excellent. Communications in English was seamless and delivery of promised services were on time and budget. A highly recommended legal partnership.

Barbara Pascual Gómez was recommended by a friend, who was also buying her first property in Spain. Being from England, I had concerns myself regarding the process of procedures including costs, banks and of course legal documents. Barbara guided me through all the steps of the process from the NIE number, power of attorney, mortgage options (banks) costs (taxes). I obviously had a lot of questions which Barbara answered promptly by email and by phone. Luckily for me, Barbara speaks excellent English and grammar, which made it extremely easy for me to understand and absorb the information I required. Unfortunately for me, when the exchange of contracts was scheduled at the notary, I wasn’t able to travel due to myself testing positive for COVID-19. I am also using Barbara to arrange a Spanish last will and testament which i will need to protect my estate.
