Our experience with Just Law Solicitors and specifically Belen and Victoria was nothing but exemplary. I would say ours was a typical purchase of a home in Spain by two Americans looking at retirement abroad. After one purchase going south with a competing offer, unrealistic demands of the seller ( and good advice from Belen) we looked for another opportunity. We hired Just Law to represent us on a real estate transaction. We worked with Belen, Victoria, and Tindra mostly. Our case, while not particularly complex, it did have some issues with how the property was previously registered, so we wanted to clean that up before closing. Working on these types of issues with 5 or more parties involved and 9 hours time zone difference can be frustrating and overwhelming at times, but Belen and team did a good job keeping us on track. They took a very conservative approach (as lawyers do) and we did have a couple of minor hiccups, but overall we were satisfied with the engagement and results and we would work with them again.

We found JustLaw via their Facebook site, they are an excellent team who helped us navigate gaining our Spanish residency with our Irish passports (one Irish, 1 UK as spouse) for Mallorca. Ana and the whole team were so helpful, available at short notice and clear on the process. Spanish bureaucracy is super challenging but they made it as easy as possible. BE VERY CAREFUL if you get Bellen as a lawyer. She was extremely unprofessional with me! I paid all we agreed on, but after I paid the last part, I got rejected when I tried to call 😳 she basically took 1250 euro from me for nothing, as we only met one time, and we almost didn't talk after. As I wanted to show respect, I was trying not to unnecessary call. With that I only spoke with her one time on the phone before paying my last part. I wanted her to decide how we do this! But after I paid the last part she made herself unavailable to call and told the receptionist to tell me to email her: BUT THE WHOLE point by me calling, WAS that father of my child hacked my email, and all sosial media, so I couldn't email. I got a little desperate to talk to someone please, I was begging, but then rather was called rude for not just saying: yes I'll send an email After the talk with the receptionist, Bellen just decided to drop my case😱she didn't even say a single word to me herself. And had no explanation other then to gaslight the situation, like I'm the one in the wrong for trying to get in contact only thing she said was: she found me disrespectful for not obeying her rules of communicating on email, but I COULD NOT receive or send mails😰😭. She advised me to move back to the situation that had destroyed me on top of this - After I finally was doing a little better recovering from all the abuse my ex/baby daddy put me through. The fact I actually trusted her advice to move back to the problems I recovered from, is crazy and im so angry at myself for listening to someone who don't respect people's money, and never cared for me or my case (the situation proofs) I'm still suffering so much, because everything I moved back to, is just like before I left. My son is left with a criminal narcissist, and suffering also😓 I have turned into a woman who cry everyday, and are suffering so much now, when I had worked so hard to become a person who actually could function normal again after all the abuse they put me through, before she took the case. I'm still so shocked that a professional company can treat people like this. I got left with paying 1250 to meet her one time and not get to talk to her anymore. The last 1250 she sent back. But still is the fact she advised me so bad and never really cared to listen to my case or let me explain anything. -The lost time, advise, the lost money and overall interaction with this company is unbelievable that is allowed. Really! Shame on you guys! Be very careful paying anything upfront with this company. They can turn on you anytime😔 If I looked like an adult I'm sure you would not treat me like this. But because I'm young and not from here, you out of nowhere made an excuse to drop my case.🧐. Only God knows what really been going on here. I know myself very well, and I'm not a disrespectful person to people or on the phone,even if I get annoyed! Something else is behind this than that call, but the fact she could not professional enough to take a conversation about it is unbelievable. She insisted turn it around with a gaslight, that I'm doing something wrong by calling, when in comparison also to how little we spoke was not wrong AT ALL I want to advise others to BE VERY CAREFUL 😥

We engaged Just Law to help us apply for non-lucrative visas. We had an initial virtual meeting with Anastasia and went from there. It took 6 months to get approved and a further 2 months once we entered Spain (from New Zealand) to get our NIE’s. Ana and the team have provided excellent support. They have been friendly but professional and we have really appreciated how quickly they respond to any questions from us. They have explained each step clearly (we speak very little Spanish) and have been so helpful since we got to Spain arranging the documentation and meetings (with the town hall and the police) to complete the NEI process. Paid €90 to be told that I couldn't do anything about my situation which is ridiculous because there were numerous laws broken including theft of my vehicle! I spent hours compiling all the evidence in a google document which was left unread (even summarised the case in the email). However, I pretty much had to explain everything from the beginning and was advised to make complaint on my own. Disappointing

Contacted the firm for a minor legal question, typical consultancy. Had a (paid) appointment and in the first 2 minutes the person declined competency on the matter. I was offered another appointment with a different person but I was asked to pay another fee, which I refused. I pointed out that I received zero advice, nada but they said no in quite strong terms. Just to understand the level of complexity of my question: I recently popped in a random Spanish lawyer office and I had an answer in less than two minutes. They didn’t even charge because they said it was “nothing “. I would recommend them if I remembered the name :) Going back to Just Law. My encounter left me no wiser, just had to fork out the fee. Are there more competent people higher up in the hierarchy? Maybe, didn’t talk to them. Would they sort out your problems? Maybe, just be prepared for the up selling. Would I recommend them? Definitely not.

We worked with Just Law previously because we needed our Wills in both english and spanish. Marisa explained everything and made it completely painless. Then we asked Just Law's help when we were buying an apartment on the coast in Almeria. Right from beginning, we knew Belen and the rest of the team were on our side (this was not our previous experience working with another firm of solicitors when we bought our main residence in spain nearly 20 years ago). The sellers representative was making things very difficult - he was insistent we did not need a solicitor but we disagreed. It became apparent that most of the legal paperwork was not in place and Belen was onto this pretty much from Day 1. We had a lot of ups and downs with this representative but due to the professionalism and focus of Belen and her team, we got it over the line and we are now the proud, and legal, owners of a lovely coastal apartment. Many, many thanks to everyone at Just Law.

I used these guys for my residency and it was smooth. I recently requested some legal assistance, I gave them questions. The response I got was vague and half of it I couldn't understand as they just copy and pasted legal jargon. Which you need to be a lawyer to understand. They also charged me more than double what other lawyers had quoted. Long story short they honestly really only care about taking your money and doing as least as possible. I'm now €350 out of pocket, with a document I only half understand. Their end response was that they were unable to give specific advice as the subject was so complex - my response, so why take my money in the first place? Why not decline the job. Yeah far from happy, very disappointed, feel like i have been ripped off in all honesty...unless you have money to give away I would steer well clear, many other cheaper lawyer options out there.

I give 5* only because I can not put 6. I rarely add reviews but having worked with and used big law firms from UK, US, IT, BR, ES, this may be the most trusted and effective team in all aspects. Not too expensive even if not the cheapest. Look no further.

No idea, where the good reviews are coming from. I am trying to get a consultation for days and instead they are going on about how I have to pay 70, euros consultation fee (without a bill) in advance, without even knowing whom I am speaking to and what their qualificiation are. A serious lawyer doesnt worry about a small fee like that because they have bigger fish to fry. Maybe for NIE applications their expertise is sufficient, I dont know.

I only have great things to say about the service that JLS provided me in order to get my residency post Brexit. Super clear communication and they were very responsive and helpful with all of my queries. I used their services to get NIE and SSN. It was excellent and quick service. The communication and coordination of steps were perfect. Without Just Law Solicitors it would have taken much longer and it saved me many journeys to Spain.
