Javier Ismael Fernandez - was dealing with a house sale for the owners of a property we were buying. Important paperwork/information was withheld before signing the 10%. After signing the 10%, 1 week before final purchase we were told many things were wrong with the house with processes over 1 year to fix. this is NOT what the original agreement was and told the notary why we were not completing sale. The house was left in an utter disgrace, dead animals, medication everywhere with damage that was not there on original visit. I also found this man VERY rude, trying to tell my lawyer I do not have money etc (we had an 800k inheritance income plus our own money). This whole process is at fault of him and the owners, but rather than being professional and owning up to their mistakes they now ignore all my lawyers emails and request of deposit back. So we are now going down the route of taking them to court to claim the deposit back, damages and costs this has caused to us.

We had a truly excellent experience with Javier while buying a property in the Malaga area. I am more than happy to share that when we recently purchased a home in Fuengirola, we enlisted the services of Olmedo & Torres to our tremendous satisfaction. We worked most closely with Javier Fernandez, who was diligent, informative (carefully explaining every nuance of Spanish laws and requirements for our purchase) and always extremely responsive to all our contacts, whether we reached out via e-mail or phone.
