Del Prado pursued a case against a Spanish bank for the return of our deposit for a development that was never built. After 17 years of legal wrangling Del Prado successfully won our case and we received a return of some monies. They were very courteous and professional in their dealings with this matter.

Hoy limpiando mi correo he encontrado los correos de esta gente y me ha hecho recordar el nefasto servicio q nos dieron hace unos 13 años aprox, nunca es tarde para contar el dinero q invertimos inútilmente en nuestro caso. Nos desplazamos desde Granada hasta Alhaurín xq nos los recomendaron, decir q en la primera entrevista me parecieron profesionales, pero conforme pasaba el tiempo lo único q hacíamos era pagar lo q pedían, sin ver ningún avance, lo último fué pagar para q una representante viniera a una reunión en la q no hizo absolutamente nada... Otra d mis decepciones fué q en una d las reuniones en las q les comunico q ya no quería seguir con el caso x no poder seguir pagándoles, me dicen q parte d lo q he os dado se queda a cuenta x si quisiéramos retomar el caso, y cuando decidimos retomar el caso esas palabras se las llevó el viento. Apuntar q la única culpable d este nefasto caso fuí yo por confiar en ellos y en su palabra y no exigir todo x escrito. Así q si decidís trabajar con ellos pedir todo lo q os digan x escrito. My wife and I moved to Spain in May 2005 and purchased a finca in Urique, Alhaurin El Grande. Del Prado acted on our behalf and the purchase went through very smoothly. Since then, Del Prado have helped us to successfully secure:- - Spanish wills - transfer of our tax liabilities from the U.K. to Spain - medical Green Card (Tarjeta Sanitaria) to give us full access to the Spanish Health Service -transfer of our U.K. Driving Licences to Spanish ones -Spanish Residencia. Also, they complete our annual tax returns and present them to the tax authorities. We have been dealt with courteously and professionally by all staff from reception, tax specialists, commercial and lawyers. Therefore, we have no hesitation in recommending Del Prado to act for anyone in Spain.

I have been using this firm of solicitors since 2015 after being recommended by the estate agent involved in the purchase of my home. Whether I have phoned or visited the office (pre-lockdown days) I have always been met by polite, friendly staff who are happy to help. We first used Del Prado in 2014 to sort out issues with the Title to our Spanish property where the Escrituro did not correspond to the land we held and thought we had bought. We were introduced to Shayney Thomas as our account Manager who, whilst very professional, was also friendly and approachable and made the whole process of sorting things out much easier and understandable. Fast forward to 2019 and Del Prado again acted for us in the sale of the property prior to our return to the UK. It was not an easy transaction - quite the opposite and, even up to the day before completion, we were not sure the sale would go ahead. Snr Juan Sedeno, ably assisted by Jose Maria worked hard to make things happen. Sadly, the matter did not end there due to complications with the DAFO resulting in a retention of part of the proceeds with a tight timescale to sort things out. Del Prado worked tirelessly to ensure all ended well. We cannot thank them enough!
