They did a lot of work for us when we settled in Spain as they had been recommended by someone we knew. They charged significantly more than the market average, but we saw it as quite efficient at that time, not knowing a lot about the legal system here wrt properties ownership. Later on, we discovered that there were mistakes in many of the documents, things were missed out which would have been important to stress for someone unfamiliar with the system and that the ownership was set up in a way that made it more expensive to sell later on.

Manzanares is a laywer and Notair service who helped us in the process of purchasing an appartment in Spain, the people are very friendly and knowledgeable. it was a pleasand trip to the end where the people involved supported us in every detail. communication with the developper, inspection for the finished building and arranging the necessary admin work for utilities and internet and bankaccount. EXCELLENT

We recently sold our apartment in Mijas Costa and I have to say that the service I received from Manzanares was poor. They made several errors and I was continually chasing them for information and correcting these errors. Possibly if I had been selling a million euro villa the service and attention might have been better however from my own experiences I would not recommend this company if you are selling a property. Sonia Burgos has acted on my behalf in an extremely professional and dedicated manner. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. I would go straight back to her if ever I should need further assistance (but hopefully I won't need it !!)

I don't particularly appreciate writing a bad review for anyone. There is too much negativity in the world as it is. The sad reality is that Manzanares make far too many mistakes as a legal form rendering us paying more than we should to them (services) and 3rd parties. When errors are pointed out, there is no sign of acknowledgement, never mind an apology. A great deal of nepotism and arrogance render their services negligent and unprofessional from their senior managers. This is a shame as the other staff members are lovely, caring and considerate. I used them three times for my VISA and purchased two homes. The VISA side of things was dealt with brilliantly, but their conveyance process is fundamentally flawed. Charging a higher-than-average % fixed fee based on a purchase price ought to have greater care. Not checking numbers, changing facts, and generally poor arrogant communication illustrates the lack of care and attention required in any professional firm.

We cannot be happier with the quality of work and service at Manzanares - the team is professional, kind, reliable, and always helpful. Alejandro in particular was a source of knowledge and gave us confidence every step of the way in a somewhat complex transaction. His attention to detail and punctuality were superb! It has taken sixteen years to unravel the unholy mess which they created when they failed to obtain our Bank Guarantee, which the existence of was used by them to persuade us that our money was completely safe. There were three purported property lawyers plus a native English speaking trainee in the room when we signed our initial contract to purchase an off-plan property. All of them assured us the Bank guarantee would safeguard our money. We later found that the developer had already had financial difficulties and as lawyers who were recommended by their sales team they must have known it was imperative they secure the Bank Guarantee for us. When the completion date over-ran by years and we decided to cancel the contract, Manzanares did all within their power to dissuade us from doing so. It was not until we changed solicitors and our new solicitor received our file from them that we discovered there was no Bank Guarantee in the file. Manzanares’ response to our request for the Guarantee? “The Developer failed to provide one”

There were simple errors like spelling mistakes and an incorrect post code for the property when we were buying. Their so-called searches turned up nothing but our own Google searches revealed that the land opposite the house was for sale with outline planning for numerous townhouses. They also failed to discover that all property owners were shortly going to be required to pay several thousand euros each for works in the urbanisation. We discovered that only on the day after completion. We also made the mistake of using their fiscal department for tax matters and found them to be unresponsive, unprofessional and of poor quality. We have since found out they were also expensive.

Simple y llanamente no me gustan los Buffettes o despachos de abogados, ni éste ni ninguno, casi siempre que visitamos un despacho de abogados es por algo negativo, también puede ser por algo positivo...pero rara vez , por lo menos en mi caso. En ésta ocasión acompañaba a un amigo y la verdad el que tuvimos que tratar no era precisamente agradable.
