I live in the UK and was overwhelmed by the sales process and legal requirements that I felt bombarded with after dealing with the sales agent Laura was the lady that looked after me. She was expert in her field. This might sound daft but I had all these crazy thoughts. What if I was being scammed etc The sales agent was very full on and not understanding the process made me feel really vulnerable and uncertain. Cannot recommend 'MyLawyerInSpain' and specifically Marien B. highly enough. As a UK Solicitor I rarely come across the level of service and professionalism offered by Marien whilst she was acting for my parents on the sale of their villa. Transaction had a couple of issues (buyer side) and these were all dealt with quickly and efficiently. Marien's English is as good as any native English speaker and really went above and beyond. We found all the staff we liaised with very helpful, professional and were engaged with the process throughout. Overall, good service. UK resident, non Spanish speaker buying our first property in Spain. They always replied promptly but I didn't always think my concerns were taken seriously. Some of this is simply because buying a house in Spain is different to buying a house in the UK but sending thousands of euros to a stranger is a scary business. A few small changes would make it 5 star. My suggestions: 1. gradually/drip feed findings, investigations, paperwork and requests. Sending through a 35 page legal pack through less than 48 hours before completion is a lot. Especially when most of it is in a foreign language. 2. They should have a shared area/drop zone for documents to reduce the endless questions and to and fro with email.
